I was looking at the Very Punny gallery tonight, and was shocked to see some almost exact cases of DD/Fan Club items, specifically an item created by WAXYO...
PLEASE, remember, that if you are casing the DD items, it has been requested that you NOT post them to your gallery...
Here is the specific information:

We do encourage you to share your "variations/versions" of Dirty Dozen creations, but request that folks not upload exact/near exact duplicates, considering the purpose of the Fan Club Gallery.
I'm asking other fan club members to please honor the request of the Dirty Dozen. If you're going to completely case a Fan Club item, please don't share it in the gallery...
what's the point of supporting the site and having exclusive access if items are going to be shared in the regular gallery anyway?? It takes away from the spirit and purpose of the Fan Club when you upload your cased items.
** I am fully aware that I have a version of the item in question in my own gallery...however, you will note that the MAIN IDEA of that item is hidden in my upload, and the container is completely different... viewers are instructed to join the fan club if they want to see the inspiration piece....
The uploads I am referring to are EXACT copies of the item in question, with full images of the "idea" blatantly posted for all to see....
I had never read or seen that thread or the forum for the fan club members and probably many others weren't aware of it. Perhaps it could be posted at the front of each monthly DD gallery to remind folks. It's up to the moderators to decide what to do.

I totally undesrtand the theory behind this...however I dropped my Fan Club membership and I have NO IDEA which cards are Fan club copies! Just thought I should mention that us non members really don't know either way! Unless of course in their description they say its a case from the fan club!
First, I'd like to thank Mestamps for her eloquent plea in support of the purpose/intent of the Fan Club Gallery, the Dirty Dozen Designers, and Splitcoastampers.
Yes, there is indeed a special forum for Fan Club Members. It is not interactive, but, serves as a library of exclusive patterns and explicit instructions that the Dirty Dozen have donated to it specifically for Fan Club Members, for personal use only. All active Fan Club Members will find this forum listed, on their screens, on the Forum Main Index Page, down near the bottom. Sometimes, folks miss a lot of things because that index page is somewhat long--we certainly have a lotta forums here on SCS--and they don't scroll down! Or, they can click HERE.
And, yes, there is a TOU (Terms of Use), in a "sticky" at the top of that forum, which we ask that Fan Club Members honor with respect to the images, and documents contained within that gallery and that forum specifically.
I am posting it here in its entirety.

It is important to note, however, that all designs (meaning artwork/creations), patterns & instructions, etc. created and donated by the Dirty Dozen for the Fan Club Gallery and Fan Club Forum are intended to be exclusive to Fan Club Members only.
All content (images/photos, written docs and diagrams, etc.) within the Fan Club areas of SCS may not be re-distributed, by any means digital/electronic or mechanical without the express consent of the creator and copyright holder.
In fact, the Dirty Dozen do not upload those creations elsewhere on the web in order to maintain that exclusivity! Why? Well, there's actually a very good reason for that! ;)
The purpose of the Fan Club itself is to provide specially select artwork and information (patterns and explicit directions, that were created and written by the Dirty Dozen themselves) that cannot be found elsewhere online as a thank-you to those who donate to support the site.
Because these donations to Splitcoast are essential, due to the significant costs in maintaining and operating a website of this magnitude, we greatly appreciate that you support SCS by referring folks to this link, About the Fan Club/Dirty Dozen Gallery for more information.

Thank you for supporting Splitcoaststampers, and the Dirty Dozen Designers!
Fan Club Membership is a way for folks to contribute their support of this site, and the Fan Club Gallery/Forum is our way of saying thank you, for helping us keep the lights on here at SCS.
Thank you to our Fan Club Members for supporting the intent and purpose of that gallery!

Thanks JulieHRR for clarifying. I guess that settles my question about not seeing any exact duplicates. In my opinion, the ones I did see (while not being exact duplicates) were close enough to be labeled "near exact duplicates".
Thanks mestamps for bringing this to everyone's attention. I love being a fan club member and knowing that I help support this awesome website and I think the more people that know the rules, the better it will be for all of us.

of the two samples I was specifically referring to, both did in fact mention they were cases of fan club items...
Thank you Julie for posting the entire TOU here, and for everything you do for all of us!
Bwhahahaha....my rolling of the eyes was geared towards the people that actually have the "you know what's" to do such a thing! Clearly breaking the rules!!!
Sorry for the misunderstanding of the lil blue smiley guy!
