Interference means that depending on whether or not you apply it to dark (i.e. black) or light (i.e. white) c/s you will see it appear on black, but not well on white. For that reason, I tend NOT to prefer interference colors. If I buy blue PEx, I want it to show up no matter what color I'm applying it to, so I avoid interference colors.
It helps to look at the chart where the PEx colors are sold in the SU! catalog.
Duo colors usually imply that depending on how you tilt the paper (doesn't matter what color it's on), you will see one color or the other (there are 2 colors mixed in the bottle).
