Default Question about being a SU demonstrator

Hi there! I am going to sign up to be a demonstrator and was wondering if anyone knew the average income for a newbie. Thanks!

I wish I could tell you but It really depends on you.
How many shows you are having ,and how much the people at your parties are willing to spend. Best of luck

Ibarnes is right, it depends on you and how much you want to work the business. If you are anything like me (newbie too) I make no income cause i spend it as soon as i get it to build up my supplies. Income? Weeeeeeell maybe, but i'm great at rationalizing (spending money to make money).

What everyone is saying is right...it really depends on you. If you are like me, I ALWAYS have to buy new sets...that really eats away at your income. When you are new, you are trying to build some of your supplies. Remember that you don't NEED to have all the new stuff. If you can show restraint (something I NEVER mastered in over 5 years with this company) then you can show an income. But part of it also depends on your customer base. Frankly some customer bases are better than others depending on what area of the country you are living in and their amount of disposable income. There is just so many variables here!

Typically something you will find is that your overall party total does go up the more experience you have. When I started my 'average' party was between $250 and $350 while now it is betwee $350 and $500 (not counting SAB).

Good luck!

SAB is Sell A Bration, which is in January and February. It allows the customers to spend $50 and get a free stamp set. There are 6 of them this year that can be chosen for free. It's a great promotion!

No matter how you decide to SPEND your income, you of course make AN INCOME! If you spend it on more stamps, groceries, day care, or hair appointments...it's still an income. Your income AMOUNT depends on how many workshops you do, how many orders you take in, and the $$ amount of those orders. At a very minimum you make 20%...so if you sell $1000 a month, you are making $200 a month and so on.

You may not make "big bucks" especially at first, but as your business grows it is VERY feasible to make a comfortable income. Not JUST based on your own personal sales, but the sales of your downline. Besides, this is the most fun and rewarding job I've ever had!!

I JUST ended my first year and my "income" was $6500. I didn't turn a profit because I too spent that $6500 plus much more on supplies and other stuff to build my business for the long-term. I expect this year I will turn a profit since most of my initial investments in my business are out of the way.

HTH,
Rachel
