Question SU ink pad storage question

Okay, This may be a really dumb question but I really could use some advice!

Here it is:
Does anyone have a storage system to store the SU ink pads to keep them face up, without having to spend a million dollars on the caddy that they sell?? I've been using a simple rubbermaid type basket, but they have to be stored (yikes!) sideways and when it got humid out the other day, my green craft pad leaked and seperated out the sides!!! (what a mess, by the way!!)

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has a better solution that really works and is easy to carry to the table and store. I'm really excited to hear if anyone has ideas that are cost friendly!!

Thanks so much in advance! I really like this place

Search for old threads out there. There are TONS of options, as cheap or expensive as you want. The old threads are really helpful and even include links to tother sites. For the meantime I would turn your basket on it's side to keep the pads right side up.

I went to Hobby Lobby and got a very nice CD holder from the furniture dept. Caught it on sale for around 35 dollars. It holds all the ink pads you could ever want ( I did have to put a $ store sponge next to them so they don't slip). There is also enough room for my spray cleaner, glues, envelopes, etc., etc.
On top I store my pastels, cleaning pad & other flat stuff. It's on a turn table so it takes up less room. I love it!

If you have a Big Lots in your area, they have the Fellowes Cassette Holder for $1.99. They are perfect for holding the ink pads and conserves space to boot. There are a number of threads on this subject. Here's one that has a link to what they look like.

And another about Big Lots

Thanks so much for the tip, I looked at the photo and am blown away at how many ink pads it will hold! There is a Big Lots approx. 20 miles from me, so I will make a trip and take a look! What a neat idea!!!

P.S. One more thing! The lady who's holder is in the photo: You go girl!!! I can only HOPE to have that many ink pads one day!!!! It looks like stamp heaven to me!!!!!

Can anybody say where in Big Lots they might be? I have looked with DVDs, tapes, etc. but the two BLs I checked had nothing like this. I really want one or two.
