Default My microwave died while I was in the process of unmounting

Has anyone else broke their microwave while putting wood & rubber in it? My husband is blaming me for the two hundred sets I've done in the last few weeks, but it couldn't have been me, would it?

lol, i don't think it was the wood or rubber that did it. possibly just the overusage of the microwave? maybe you helped it along, but it was probably on it's way out.

and you tell your other half that card making is well worth buying a new microwave-it is prioritised way before anything else. haha good luck

I just unmounted also, I started out using the nukker, but then I found I liked pulling the rubber stamp off better without using it. try it and see if it works for you, I did find that some pealed off nice and clean, others still had the dried up glue, the lastly others were a goopy mess.

Anyway sorry to hear about your microwave. By the way, you didn't break it!

Just a suggestion. We recently had a lightning strike, and many of our appliances and electronics stopped working.
I unplugged each thing for two minutes, and then plugged it back in. It reset the TVs, dvd, computer. It did not work for the speakers on my computer, and the washer. It's worth a try. Good luck. Eileen

I agree.... the microwave was probably on its way out. Personally, I just stick my finger on the edge of the stamp and pull. Most times it comes clean. Sometimes it leaves the dry glue on there but I then use my finger in a downward motion and it usually comes off without any problems. I love UM stamps. ALL of mine are UM and I just reorganized my craft room and put them all in CD cases. I've got over 300!!!! No, they're not all SU.
