So, I have tons of old formaula cans (powdered) and their lids. Do you think it's ok to wash them out and decorate them (instead of paint cans) and fill them with goodies to give out as Christmas gifts? I don't want anyone to think it is icky - but decorated they look great! What are your thoughts? I really would hate to see them go to waste, and would love to get something out of the zillion bucks we spent on formula for the last year!
I did the same thing last year. I cleaned them out well and then put wax paper down so nothing touched the tin. People seemed to really like them! Obviously I don't think it's gross.
Wax paper - great idea!! I know DH is dying to get those puppies out of the extra bathroom closet - the other day I heard this horrific crash and he said a very loud 4 letter word ;) . When I went running, there he was, standing in the bathroom surround by old formula cans I've been hoarding  I thought it was hilarious, and so did our 13 month old!
