Lightbulb Pondering this one.......

While browsing the gallery today it occured to me like with today's Color Challenge.. uhm you see the colors and you KNOW what stamp set to use? or do you start with a stamp set and pick the colors that you would see it go with??

Sometimes I just know ok this set would look great in this color when I start something.. but then do you choose a set and say ok lets make it work with the challenge.. understand where I'm going with this?? (gawd I hope so)

This is an interesting question. I think often I look at what mood the color combo gives off and then find a set that matches the mood. for instance if it's fall colors I'd lean towards a set of that theme. The thing that trumps this is a new image I've "got" to use or a card I need that day.

Great question! I don't often have time for the color challenge these days (new job...heavy sigh) but when I do, I usually look for a set that 'feels' like the colors. Make sense? ok, no but... like today's challenge is Pink Chocolate Kissees, so (if I didn't have a ton of work that I'm procrastinating by checking in on SCS and I had time for stamping) I'd look at my sets and think about which ones scream chocolaty pinks and kiwi, like Season of Friendship or Upsy Daisy.
Hmm... maybe I can finish my work really quickly tonight!
