Question Making Memories Paints........?

? for anyone who has these & has used them... how have you used them? do you like them? other than they are acid-free, what's the difference between the MM paints & regular craft acrylic paint?
Bought them 50% off at Joanne's - SHerbert & Cityscape - but don't know that I really need them. Already have lots of regular acrylic paints. If I ever use paint on a SB page or card, it would be on acid free c/s & never directly on a photo - so now I'm thinking about returning them & getting (my neglected) acrylics out.
Thanks,
Kitty

I love them!

They have a lower water content than reg. acrylics and won't cause your paper to wrinkle.

I have MM and regular paints and really prefer the MM for paper because they have less water, dry faster, and the colors are super cool.

Oddball that I am, though, I won't use them with my rubber stamps because I'm afraid of ruining the stamps. Acrylic paint dries so fast, and once it's dry, it's there. So I stick with the foam stamps which are really fun once I got over my "rubber snobbery" and tried them! LOL!

I use the paints on cards and sb pages, mainly with the foam stamps. But I've seen cool pages where letter stickers were used as masks, painted over, then removed for titles. Also, using white on a dry brush with little paint can create interesting white-wash effect for backgrounds. There's lots to do with them--if you want to LOL! If you don't want to go there, return the paints and get something you will use. After all, if we did all the cool things out there, we'd never sleep and wouldn't have any money in the bank!!!

I haven't used them myself, but I saw someone use them while scrapbooking. They are very nice, but pricey.
