Well you can sell them here on the buy/sell thread. Or on etsy etc. Or trade them for something you do want...there is a trade thread.

If you want to just give them away-Ronald McDonald house does good things with it for the kids, local good charity, check your local hospital-some of them have activity rooms for patients/visitors, your local grammar/JHS since teachers dont get money for supplies...if you have an LSS, give them a call and ask them what they do.

Do you have friends with kids or grandkids you could give them to? Paper-they can make the paper chains for bday parties and stuff. Or kids in your own family?

Sometimes people offer to give it to newbies here to help them get started.

Good ideas. Thrift stores sometimes take craft supplies, and Goodwill always does - though I’d package items in baggies, including paper. I’ve seen many stamping items for sale on a Goodwill website.

Do call ahead to any place you’re thinking of donating to. Some thrift shops do not take craft supplies. Some schools do not accept them - some do.

A local Ronald McDonald house told the owner of a local stamp shop they would like supplies from her - just enough to fit into one small box (they gave her the measurements) because of storage space.

That's true. Goodwill has an online store with tons of stamps and I keep forgetting to go look there. But they generally do it in lots and I don't want to get so many. But it can be great for beginners.

Wow. Our local McDonald house will take whatever they can get. Maybe they have more traffic.

They’re always busy but so many people donate so many different kinds of items, and storage isn’t unlimited - plus not everyone is interested in paper crafts. Each Ronald McDonald house may have different needs, like senior centers, thrift shops, schools, etc.

I donated a bunch of stamping supplies to two of the nursing homes that I work with.  You could find out if a local nursing home has an activities director and see if they are interested.  I also gave paper to two other nursing homes.  Sometimes we forget that the elderly like crafting as much as we do.  It was fun to see the cards made from what I donated.  I also bought washable ink for the nursing homes I gave stamps to so they didn't have to worry about their budget for supplies (and they requested washable ink even though it is not the best for stamping).  Most of the stamps I donated were wooden.

I had LOTS of 65lb weight paper I was not using in many colors so donated them to one of the elementary schools and they loved it. They did not want stamps however.

Default Facebook stamping and craft groups

I have sold many of my unwanted items through Facebook stamping and craft groups.

Had to ship most of the items so look for an affordable method.... Canada Post offered boxes that I paid 1 price for and weight didn't matter (great for selling paper or punches.

They are called Canada Post flat rate boxes and come in 3 sizes
