This wasn't my idea, but here is a Christmas card I made using Paint Prints as candles.
PaintPrintsCandles
I used it again on this scrapbook page for birthday candles, but also used it to make a birthday cake (look close!)
BirthdayCake
My DD (one of 2MommysGirls) used Watercolor Garden to make this cute smiley face!
WCG-SmileyFace
Beth (ShowMeStamper) made this great reindeer with Christmas Foliage, and it was a huge hit with my girls as Christmas tags when I CASEd her idea!

Cute, cute, cute.
I love these ideas. My brain just doesn't work this way -- unfortunately.
Keep 'em comin'!

Okay so here's my contribution. Use a circle stamp (whatever) OR count a circle about an in in diameter out of scraps and stamp in yellow, add rays all around - SUN, in red add a line down the center, doton the red, add 6 legs and a little black head - LADY BUG, or cut and mount a split top with brads and you have FLYING LADY BUG, any color add top and hook - CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT, any color, add small triangle in matching color and black squiggle string - BALLOON, 2 red ones, add black stems and a random leaf - CHERRIES

Here's one I did for a challenge a while back. It's a watermellon turned coffee cup. I also made it a scratch and sniff.

Thanks to all for the great ideas!

Hot air balloon
I've seen and made a hot air balloon with the pumpkins from carved and candlelight upside down. It wasn't my idea originally, but it works well.
I also made a great card by piecing together the balloons and the mouse from nice as notes? (I might have that name wrong, it's my mom's and I can't look it up right now) which was fun. but not as creative as the hot air balloon.
I've also used the lines on wonderful words to make designs! Thanks for reminding me about that!

Bringing this back up to the top for more ideas. I can't remember if this idea was posted, but here is a cute card done by the Dahl House to make a fence with the tag punch.

Thanks for bringing this up to the top! I found some cute cards made with oval punches. When I get home, I'll check for them in the gallery. One was a frog and one was a cactus. I know the cactus was posted on the Favorites for the week ending February 24 thread.

I'm not very imaginative - so I a shameless caser !
On that note ... I've seen cards using the lace snowflakes to make a Christmas wreath ... very pretty and delicate looking ... been thinking about trying that myself this year for my cards
