I am making a baby announcement card with Night of Navy and Ballet Blue. I ordered the 3/8" light blue ribbon. But I think I might have made a mistake, but it is so hard to tell with the ribbon on the roll, without unrolling it to see the sheerness of it against the cardstock.
What color of ribbon would go best with those colors? Thanks!
I think it totally depends on your card. I would wait and see if you like it. I am sure it will look great. Sounds like you are doing a monochromatic card. The pop of the ribbon will depend on how you use it and on what color. I would def. play around with it since you are already getting it before you search for more
Okay, I finished making the card. It is lovely in shades of blue. Then the light blue ribbon has a slight turquoise cast to it. Doesn't look quite right. Is there another color I should look at?
Thanks!!!

The blue ribbon from SU is my favorite. (Item #102217) It's just called blue, not light blue. It is a true blue, kind of a medium color but because it's sheer it goes with other blues.
A lot of demos have the different ribbons, you might ask yours if she has some you could look at before ordering. Also, if you are in a time crunch, the bigger JoAnn stores have a large ribbon section.
Hope this helps & good luck!
