I haven't gotten into the water color crayons. They just sit there and I almost never use them. Good thing I got them for free with the promotion commotion.
I haven't gotten so much into background stamps either.... I like them and have a few of them. ( I would say get Canvas as it is a really easy stamp to use)
I also haven't gotten into watercoloring... I'm just not good at it! Maybe if someone showed me and I had the proper tools I might like it. Is the aquapainter the best for this? Or just a brush?
Scrapbooking. When it first started getting popular in this area, I had no interest at all, even though I am an avid crafter and will jump on any crafting band wagon. After awhile I decided to try it, but it didn't stick. I'm just not "into" it ya know what I mean?
Stephanie, I'm not a demo, but the wheel is what hooked me into stamping to being with! The demo had some kraft colored tissue and a plain old brown paper lunch sack. She wheeled the ivy around the edge of the tissue and diagonally across the sack and made the cutest little gift bag. Got me, hook, line and sinker!

I cannot jump on the acquapainter bandwagon at all. I am a blender pen fan so maybe that's it. Plus, I tried it once and it didn't look anywhere near as wonderful as everyone else's cards. Suppose I should try it again someday...
I am addicted to wheels! I think I have 30+. They make instant backgrounds! Plus I always like to decorate the flap of my envelope with them too.
I don't enjoy scrapbooking much either. I have done some for myself, alot for others. I would much rather make a card or a gift. I don't use the chalks much for my own stuff anymore.

Pastels! I'm seriously thinking of selling mine. Also, I don't use the few wheels I have. This thread is reminding me to try again! I have the wheel guide, but just never use the wheels.
Rarely emboss anymore, although when I do, I like it.

I'm in the wheels and pastels camp. The wheels are so cute in the catty and on other people's work. When I use 'em they just look lame. I keep putting them on my wish-list, and then ordering other stuff because I'm never satisfied with my results.
I'm seriously considering cutting the ones I have off the wheels like some have suggested and mounting them on a block of wood. It couldn't be any worse.
The pastels were one of my first purchases. I like the look of them on other people's work, but I really dislike the applicators. I've tried Q-tips and cheap eyeshadow wands instead, with only a little improvement. I don't like my results when I use a blender pen either. I guess I'm pastel impared.

Why did she make things? Well, she enjoyed it, of course; it also somehow helped her remember who she was and where she came from.

Does that really work? I never even thought of doing that, but I don't use my wheels either. I never wanted to buy all the color cartridges!
I've never gotten into wheels. But I refuse to try them. I figure it's just one more thing I'll spend my money on and I don't want to be tempted. It's enought that I'm into BG's, all the ink, all the paper, stazon, embellishments, ribbon, and on and on...

You betcha! I have my wheels off the wheel and they are just like long stamps! I use them with my acrylic blocks. Once I took the rubber off the wheels, I used those puppies FAR more often than I did before!
