Does anyone sell on Shop Handmade?

Hi...

Just curious to see if anyone sells their cards and papercrafts on Shop Handmade, and if you do, how well do you do? I'd also like someone to explain the costs. It says free, but then it says 25 a listing. I find it all kind of confusing!

I've been reading the threads from people who sell on Etsy and it doesn't sound like cards and stamped items sell very well there. I've been unemployed for a year and a half now and could REALLY use some cash! I have most of my stuff at a local beauty shop right now, but we're in a very small community, so it's very slow.

I'd love to hear from anyone who has tried Shop Handmade and how they're doing!

Thanks!
Debi :)

I tried Shophandmade for 6 months and didn't sell a single thing. I do sell on Etsy and have done well there but mostly with collage art and soldered jewelry but I sell a few cards here and there. There is an art to selling on Etsy, you can just list and leave it, you need to advertise outside of Etsy, bring people to your shop, list new items or re-list items all the time, it takes some work and promotion just like any shop does. I do know alot of people that sell alot of cards on Etsy, check out some of the large card making "teams" and you'll find lots of shops that do well with cards.
