Default Does anyone know where to buy a ribbon shredder?

I have called, Michael's, JoAnn's, Walmart, Party City, a local Party Store, Garden Ridge, and Hobby Lobby and they all state they do not carry a ribbon shredder.

Thanks!

Is there a technique for using a serrated knife as a ribbon shredder? My serrated knives are so sharp I would be worried about them being more of a finger shredder, if you knowhatI'msayin.

I did not know that you could use a serrated knife.

I know that you can clip the ends of the ribbon with scissors and then pull it to tear it into thinner strips, but that is a lot of work and that is why I was looking for a ribbon shredder.

Fortunately for me, Nancy has graciously offered her to give her ribbon shredder to me.

Are you trying to use that on the fabric ribbon most people use for cards, or for gift wrap ribbon. I don't think it would work on fabric.

But I ALWAYS wanted one when they used to be on commercials.

When you use a serrated knife, you just have to be careful with the fingers!! I've used it many times without a problem.

I got one at a paper store. It does only work on the type of ribbon you use on wrapping packages, not fabric ribbon.

I got mine at a paper outlet. Currentcatalog.com has them.
