First of all, I think it's adorable!!! Your colors are fabo!
In order to fool the eye into thinking the name is centered, you can stamp one of the smaller flowers from that set (I'd use the one that looks just like the big one) to the right of the name. In fact, you could use one of the smaller flowers to go beside the name then stamp that same smaller flower in between the large ones in the top section.
or...You could even stamp a row of flowers in front and behind kinda like this ****AMANDA*******(only centered half way down the letters)
If you want to have raised embellishments then I would say to put a ribbon above the name and have the tie or a piece of Hodgepodge hardware be on the right and that will balance it out too.
Don't forget lots of fun ribbon across the clip in the same colors!
I didn't even notice the name was off centered until you mentioned it. I was going to suggest adding ribbon up at the top of the clipboard.
BTW, I am terrible at centering things like names - at least where every letter is stamped individually. I can't even hang a picture on the wall straight.

Another option if the off center is driving you nuts is to paint over the bottom again. You could use a small paint brush to get close to the lowest flower where the mesh is - I'm assuming the mesh is stamped and not real.
