Question RAINBOW STRIP FLIP technique.... how to??

Was going thru the gallery (Balmy Breezes) for ideas. The creator of this card used this technique for the background. Does anyone know how this is done? A really great affect.
Thanks,
SantaKitty

If it is the same one I am thinking of. You brayer the glossy paper first and then cut the strips and glue down and then stamp on top of it.

I recieved one of the rainbow strip flip, and yes you brayer with a 5 color Spectrum pad a glossy 1/4 sheet, then cut the long side into 5 equal strips, then flip every other one around, so say the blue is at the bottom of card, then you flip the next strip so the blue is at the top, then the next strip you kep the blue at the bottom again. etc

Thanks, ladies. I was sure it had to be more complicated than this - glad it isn't. Am going away to work on this & see how I like the finished card up close & personal.

You can find instructions on many, many fabulous techniques (like this one) at www.patstamps.com in her Technique Junkies Newsletter! It's well worth it!!! If you want to see a little preview of what the techniques look like (and the quality of the instructions), she has three FREE watercolor crayon tutorials on the site.

Mention my name if you do decide to purchase the newsletter! PM me for more information!
