Default Challenge - Gifts to Give!

After all the parties and the presents are over, I see now all the things I could of done, but never thought of. I could have made my Aunt some cards. I could have made more ornaments. Instead of beating myself up about the past, I've decided to get it all done this year. But I know me. I'll be trying to do it all in December.

So, what I want to create for myself is a box full of gifts to give. Hand-stamped packs of cards with envelopes in a cello bag, ready to go, etc...so that when I have forgotten so-and-so's birthday in March, I'll have something on hand. I thought that other gals might feel the same way I am feeling and would like this idea.

So I'd like to start a challenge to make a small stock pile of gifts. We could encourage one another by uploading our pictures and posting links so that we all get some new ideas. What do you say?

I’d like to know if there is a way to make a small user gallery to put these ideas into. If I create a user album, will that work? Can others upload into it? If so, then I’ll create one and post a link here.

I’m looking forward to this, even if I’m the only one. ;)

I took the Simply Scrappin Kit (In Full Bloom) and acrylic magnetic frames and made a TON of post it note holders. Partnered with a checkbook cover and RSVP pen using the same set, this makes a great gift.

In another thread, there was mention of the ribbon holder at Target. Well, they also had a card box with tabs. I bought four of them - one for myself and the others for Christmas 2005 gifts. As I stamp throughout the year, I will make extra's of the cards. I will fill the box gradually throughout the year. So in Nov/Dec I am not trying to make Easter, Mother's Day or Father's Day cards. I will have done that already. These tabbed boxes of cards will be gifts for my mother, SIL's and grandmother.

I too will be watching for any other exciting gift ideas you all come up with.

Here's another idea that I haven't had time to execute, but I think it would be great. I want to get a cheap metal frame with a thin border (around a dollar or so). If I get a 5x7 size, then I'll make a 4x6 mat for the inside that is stamped. I think that would be so cute!
