decide what gallery additions you want to post comments on?
I am constantly ooohhhhing and aaaahhhing over everyone of them but if I comment on all them then nothing gets done around the house. I love everything I see and I know that everyone has put in a lot of hard work and creative energy in their work and I hate not commenting on every one of them.
You all have inspired me so much. I want to CASE everything. I have been stamping for about 5 years but have done more since finding this site a few months ago than I did all the years prior.

There are soo many amazing cards posted every day, that you are right....there is no way you could comment on all of them. When I do have time to sit and view the gallery, I try to comment on the ones that are catch my eye enough to click on the thumbnail and view it bigger. Personally, I am flattered when any of my submissions get a view, even if the person didn't leave a comment.
I participate in most of the challenges (or lately, just subscribe to the threads so that I can see the work...no time to stamp right now) and I try to comment on those. But sometimes even that doesn't happen!
Comment on the ones that you love, and don't feel guilty about not commenting on each and every one.
So many cards to comment on--so little time. I think I spend more time on the board than I do stamping! I try to comment on particularly WOW cards, on cards by newbies (or at least newer to the board), on cards that I think are great but that have very few or no comments. There are so many talented people here. I love checking the forum for posts on favorites so I can discover other stampers whom I have never known about, or sometimes just clicking at random on the link to a poster's gallery so I am not always looking at the "super stars."
Usually if I click on it to see the larger image, I leave a comment. That said, I usually only click on cards that Wow! me, color combos that catch my eye, a design that I really like or have never seen before or cards that use a certain technique that I've been wanting to try etc... There are 100's of cards uploaded each day, so there's no time to comment on all of them.
One thing I have noticed, cards that are part of a challenge and have links posted in the challenge forums usually get more hits/comments than other cards.
Sometimes I have to limit myself and only leave say 10 comments. Then close the website and go do something else.
Other times I just start looking at the gallery and before I know it 2 hours have gone by.
Laura - sometimes I click on a particularly dark and unlovely thumbnail just to see why it is there. To my amazement, they are often gorgeous cards when viewed in large size. For instance this card by UrgentCookie looks way more elegant up close. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Thank you all so much! I guess I am still in the "WOW" stage on all cards. I am really inspired by everyone. I think I will get off of the forums now and actually try and stamp something.

If someone has no comments, I always try to put a comment on these cards. I know I feel bad if I've done work on a creation and no one has commented. These are my priority.
