CHILDREN OF THE CORN stamp set!!!!!!!!!!!! (aka Charming Children)
My DH gave me this as a belated Mother's day gift from him and the kids!! (our kids...not the creepy ones on the stamps ;)) Of course my kids think this is the funniest thing ever..because they all know how much I HATE this set.
I knew he was up to something....but never in a million years thought it would be *this*!!!
So I made him *sweet* little card with his new favorite stamp set!!! I can't wait to give it to him tonight....(along with his pillow & blanket that he will need when he sleeps on the couch!!!!)

I plan using it for every card I give to my DH...anniversaries, birthdays, christmas, halloween, easter and even his 'I've missed you' card...for when I let him come back into our bed!! ;)
I am going to make him wish he never bought it, and then when he replaces it with some *real* stamps...maybe...just maybe I will forgive him!!
I am so glad I married a man with a great sense of humor!!!...even if I am the butt head of his joke.

Mandy... You must have a great sense of humor. To hate the stamps and still make a card with them is awesome. Another gal might have sent them directly back to SU requesting a refund.
Not only that, but you did such a great job coloring these little kids that they actually look kind of cute. LOL
I burst out laughing when I read your thread and looked at the card! This is very, very funny. Maybe he needs Crazy-eyed Motorcycle Santa for Father's Day!
LOL wow...that card is scary! My DH was like wow their eyes are red it's scary...I wish i knew what SU! was thinking with that set and soooo glad it's retiring!!

Okay, I opened your card with my 8 year old DD standing behind me. She said "Mom! I LOVE that set and that card but we don't have the You Make Me Cringe stamp." It was cute. It is her favorite!
oh that's so funny! I did see a cute card the other day - the little girl with piggy tails with her hands to her face, it was cute. But overall not a fan of the CC either (I used to call my kids The Children of the Corn when they were acting up and it's still a family joke).

LMAO Boy am I glad dh just sets the spending limit for stamp shopping and let me go to town. I don't think he would ever start ordering stuff on his own. Of course with my almost fully computerised wishlist he might get ideas, so I might have to pw protect it.

Oh, that was really funny. I kept the link to your card open for my hubby to see, and when he saw it he made me close the screen, because the kids are so scary. Hahahaha, Other than how ugly thoes kids are you did really good on the card! =)
