Which do you like better?

I am trying to decide between 2 different cards for a workshop this weekend. They supplies are basically the same...same layout, same color scheme but I think two very different cards.....

I appreciate any input

Roses in Winter

Artfully Asian

I asked this in the demo thread, but I wanted some opinions of "workshop guests" - which would you rather do?

Thanks,
Jeanna

karenabd 02-23-2007 02:05 PM

I think they are both fabulous, but if I were attending a workshop, I would choose the "Artfully Asian". It is very elegant.

craftydiva 02-23-2007 02:07 PM

I also like "Artfully Asian", I like the softness of the color combination.

NancyJ 02-23-2007 02:08 PM

They're both great, but if I had to choose one, it would be the Artfully Asian card. I like the soft color scheme and the graceful flowers.

Arlene Bridges 02-23-2007 02:09 PM

I love both of them but feel the Artfully Asian might be easier for new stampers.

Stampin'_Geer 02-23-2007 02:11 PM

Well, they are both nice, but the RIW shows two step stamping, which is good

kimmol 02-23-2007 02:15 PM

Artfully Asian. They are both pretty, but as a beginner, I feel I would be more 'successful' with artfully asian. I, personally, prefer the simplicity of it.

Just my thoughts.

copsmonkey 02-23-2007 02:16 PM

I'm kind of thinking I might take both and let each guest choose.
Good idea?

sunnywl 02-23-2007 02:17 PM

Both are awesome cards. I'd go with the Artfully Asian one. So beautiful!!

Anna741 02-23-2007 02:20 PM

Wow, both of those are beautiful! I love them both, but if I had to choose, it would be the Roses in Winter card.

Letting the guest choose is a great idea! I would certainly appreciate that as a guest.

wackyredhead 02-23-2007 02:26 PM

I like the idea of letting the guest choose. I have the Artfully Asian set, and will definitely try your card! Now I want Roses in Winter even more. Not that I like roses or anything... ;)

msbmom2 02-23-2007 02:28 PM

I think the Artfully Asian card looks alot less intimitdating...coming from a beginner:)!

kja9105 02-23-2007 02:28 PM

artfully asian it is a beautiful card

wendykins 02-23-2007 02:36 PM

I say Artfully Asian, although they are both wonderful!

TheAfricanQueen 02-23-2007 02:39 PM

I would do something more simple, so my preference would be Artfully Asian. After all, you do want to attract newcomers so keeping it simple I would say is absolutely imperative. Plus this one is elegant, although simple. Happy stamping! TAQ

kansmom 02-23-2007 02:41 PM

I would pick the Asian one also . . . makes me think of spring! and boy howdy I am SO ready for spring! lol

momtoha 02-23-2007 02:44 PM

Both are beautiful. if I had to choose I'd go with artfully asian.

marjo702 02-23-2007 02:50 PM

I like Artfully Asian!

MadameCraftyPants 02-23-2007 02:53 PM

I'd definitely love to do the Artfully Asian card.

Susannk 02-23-2007 02:57 PM

They are both pretty but if I had to chose one I would pick the Artfully Asian one.

olivia'smom 02-23-2007 03:05 PM

I say go with artfully asian as it seems less intimidating to make then the other. I don't have either set. But want both!!

diane617 02-23-2007 03:09 PM

I hate to go against the majority, but I like the Rose in Winter one.

twyant 02-23-2007 03:12 PM

I have to say I like the Roses in Winter one the most. Two step stamping is what hooked me. Hard decision though. I like the idea of letting the people at the party choose. Beautiful color choices.

nmslmomto3 02-23-2007 03:15 PM

gosh I love both of them and would like to make either. I don't have artfully asian so would want to make this one..lol

K. Benko 02-23-2007 03:16 PM

Thats hard because I love Artfully Asian but if I were going to a paid workshop - I would want a lot for my money so I would think Roses in winter is more challenging.

angelanne21 02-23-2007 03:18 PM

Artfully Asian!!

Knutsen24 02-23-2007 03:23 PM

I love the artfully aisan!

godchick 02-23-2007 03:23 PM

Roses in Winter!

copsmonkey 02-23-2007 03:26 PM

I'm thinking it might be easiest to let them choose based on their comfort level.
Most people did choose my first one though...I guess just like taking a test, go with your first instinct!
Thanks for the nice comments!

PUGMAMA 02-23-2007 03:27 PM

Both cards are beautiful..but if I had to pick one, I would pick the Artfully Asian

Anemone 02-23-2007 07:39 PM

Another vote for Artfully Asian here!

LaurieR 02-23-2007 07:53 PM

Add another vote for Artfully Asian...great card!

Melanwee1 02-23-2007 08:03 PM

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Roses in Winter one! The other one is nice too, but the RIW is my favorite.

Thanks for sharing them!
~Melanie

JodiAnn 02-23-2007 08:06 PM

I vote for Artfully Asian - I like them both, but I have a rose set and would rather do something I couldn't do at home.

Carol Haney 02-23-2007 08:08 PM

The Artfully Asian is beautiful, and I'm not just saying that because I HATE the Roses in Winter set. It really is a lovely card! Go with that one.

StampinforHISglory 02-23-2007 08:36 PM

My vote is for Roses in Winter. This is a great set for a new stamper because it is forgiving, demonstrates 2 step stamping and you don't have to color anything in. The card has more depth and interest as well. Great color combo too!!

mindeola 02-23-2007 08:40 PM

I would choose Atrfully Asian because I do not have that set. I think this would inspire me!

twinks 02-23-2007 08:42 PM

I love both sets; but would choose to see how you did your RIW card. As a previous poster said - two-step stamping is what intrigued me as a new stamper.

Debbie-MO 02-23-2007 10:16 PM

Another vote for Roses In Winter.

marcial 02-24-2007 04:37 AM

I vote for Artfully Asian and then demo Roses to show how such a complicated card is really very simple. Good luck. My first workshop is tomorrow and my hostess called to let me know she would have 13 guests!
