Do you have Sizzix NEW Petal Envie?
 

I am trying to figure out how big the square is if you were to fold the petals inward. anyone know?

I just emailed Sizzix to confirm but their website states that the Envelope is 4 1/8" x 4 1/8". This would lead me to believe the dimensions are when it is folded... but who knows for sure.

I'll let you know if and when I hear from Sizzix... I'm curious too!

I believe the dimensions are unfolded. I just checked the website and I had purchased the little card die from the same lot and the dimensions given were flat. HTH

I just got my shipment of the new Sizzix dies. I will find out as soon I use mine tomorrow.

Well I measured it and when it is closed it is 2" x 2".

Now I just need finish making my items.

This is the "official" response from Sizzix:

Thank you for writing. I measure the Envelope for you, and it is 2-1/16" x 2-1/16 when folded up. It is the 4" when it is open.
