Do you have certain stamps you buy over and over?

For me it is butterflies..and leaves I think. I do love flowers as well and am on a bicycle kick these days too..I have to say though that over all I am drawn to things I can color..I do love to color LOL

Just wondering if you are like me and have a gazillion of one certain theme..

nancystamps 03-02-2012 01:07 PM

Tea, teapots, teacups, ballet shoes, ballerinas!

xayide2 03-02-2012 01:08 PM

Ditto on Butterflies, they're just so pretty.

SophieLaFontaine 03-02-2012 03:07 PM

Cars and the Tilda girls from Magnolia. Cars for my nephews, who both love them, and Tildas because I love them, and can put them on cards for my niece, who I think loves anything that's pink and frilly and pretty - basically, the kind of card I just LOVE to make.

fishymom 03-02-2012 03:24 PM

For me, it is shells and Beachy stuff. I also buy a lot of flowers and leaves.

taniwolf 03-02-2012 03:32 PM

horses, MFT whos that girl, Stamping bella- kettos

Ldumont999 03-02-2012 04:03 PM

When I'm buying digi's I'll always go to Dustin Pike first. I don't think I've ever found an image of his I don't like. I also love Who's that Girl images for physical stamps.

gregzgurl 03-02-2012 04:51 PM

Totally cannot resist hearts and related motifs, have an extreme fondness for vintage-y flourishes and borders, and a strong affinity for anything Halloween...

bradley's_mom 03-02-2012 04:56 PM

flowers, cats and teacher stuff to make for gifts.

klh54 03-02-2012 05:05 PM

For me it's probably background stamps, sentiments and bible verses. After that I'm pretty evenly spread with what I buy-love butterflies but really only have two sets of those. And I love birds!

When it comes to companies I am split between Hero Arts, PTI and Verve (mostly Plain Janes) I have a few SU stamps, a lot of the little Studio G stamps and the rest is just misc.

I have been on a buying kick for a bit after taking a 3 month break but now it's quittin time! :)

JoyceL 03-02-2012 05:45 PM

I have a lot of flowers, christmas, oriental, sentiments and music notes stamps. Flowers seem to top the list.

MelDeLlanos 03-02-2012 06:32 PM

I'd have to say Magnolias (Tilda specifically). LOVE her!!

DianeinSparks 03-02-2012 06:54 PM

Snowmen - especially Whipper Snapper's - I have so many already and lots more on my wish list!

buggainok 03-02-2012 07:14 PM

I can't seem to resist a cute Kitty Cat!

stamp luvr 03-02-2012 07:16 PM

Yes, over and over! just discovered today that I have bought a second set of Crafty Secrets Poppies! Duh...........

southernstamper 03-02-2012 07:17 PM

I love flowers, and verses/words, nature

Rainy Day Stamper 03-02-2012 07:37 PM

I love nature and birds and like you I love to color, actually, watercolor. I like having a lot of the same theme. It helps create scenes when I can grab from a bunch of different sets.

I love anything vintage too.

I am trying to just buy supplies now because I have more than enough stamps to grab from when I am creating.

PedalPower 03-03-2012 03:59 AM

I've never met a bicycle stamp that I didn't *have* to have! We're a family of cyclists and I have all sorts of occasions that I can use a bike stamp for. I'm also a sucker for any kind of snowman stamp, too!

anitabestampin 03-03-2012 05:09 AM

I am really drawn to girl or dog stamps. If the stamp has a little girl WITH a dog, it immediately becomes a "must have". ;) I love hearing about the types of images that everyone favors!

Oddesigns 03-03-2012 05:49 AM

When I was only a year or so into this hobby, I was mostly buying from SU and binge-shopping at a couple of local expos. I noticed that I was continually buying butterflies, but was overlooking key sentiments like sympathy and get well.

That's when I started a stamp index, and also put myself on a butterfly moratorium.

craftykarla 03-03-2012 07:21 AM

Ditto oon the butterflies, flowers and sentiments (especially birthday - I make cards to send to church members).

hoptownracer1 03-03-2012 07:49 AM

Have to have kitty stamps!!! I also love Nativity scenes, Easter stamp sets and sentiment shapes, tags, circles etc...

ceramicat1 03-03-2012 11:51 AM

Everything? Cats and Halloween are particular favorites.

Cook22 03-03-2012 01:12 PM

Birds!!! And Penny Black cute critters :D, but usually I get DH to buy me those as gifts, 'cos I can't justify to myself that they'll earn their keep if I buy them myself.
I seem to have a lot of snowmen, too.
And three music backgrounders plus other music stamps too, with a couple more backgrounders on my wishlist.

EFA_Canal 03-03-2012 01:22 PM

Any stamp with a cute critter and a matching sentiment I will buy. I also have way too many "thank you" stamps.

Tortuga 03-03-2012 05:01 PM

snowflakes, snowmen and flowers.

Jan in ID 03-03-2012 09:01 PM

Trees! I love tree stamps and lots of flowers also.

Karen99 03-04-2012 07:48 AM

Mine are Christmas stamps! I have such a weakness for them! Any of them!! Geesh...how many Christmas stamps can one person use in her lifetime??? LOL

Jaima 03-04-2012 01:05 PM

I have just started in stamping and have bought some sets like SU and like those ok.
But, I just found Queen Kat Designs website with all the fairies and fantasy and such.
I wanted soooooo many of the stamps and bought a nice collection.
I feel so inspired just looking at them and cannot wait to get them.
I love fairies and there was also a set called gothic dollies but can't remember the artist name and bought quite a few of them also.

Stampnf1n 03-04-2012 03:32 PM

Cooking stamps. Anything or anyone cooking. If its holding a spoon i have to have it.

I am not totally into the cupcake stamps but i have a few favorites.

Bonnie

Louise123 03-05-2012 05:52 AM

For me it's sentiment stamps, but I never seem to have the right one when I'm in a hurry to finish a project!

smhtwin 03-05-2012 10:02 AM

Christmas stamps are my weakness!:D

didlet 03-05-2012 10:33 AM

Christmas and butterfly stamps. I keep telling myself donot buy anymore Christmas or butterfly stamps, but someone always comes up with another pretty stamp!!!

veggiegirlRD 03-05-2012 07:24 PM

birds in flight, dragonflies, text backgrounds, cute trees of some sort.....oh and things that have to do with books, like a book cover, stamps for book plates, etc

KoffeeKat 03-06-2012 12:33 AM

Got to be backgrounds for me.

I love images to colour but I've gone digi with those so I can buy what I need when I need it, rather than getting sucked into buying things without a purpose, just because they are there.

kspiv 03-06-2012 11:36 AM

Flowers or florals. You'd think 2,000 floral stamps would be enough...LOL

J/K....I don't *think* I own 2,000 floral stamps.

Pretzelgirl8 03-06-2012 12:38 PM

Butterflies, birds & flowers! Everytime I think I have enough butterflies or birds I find one that's just so different in style to what I have that I need it. I'm also a sucker for any vintage images and particularly drawn to anything that has script.

sprtchick 03-06-2012 02:27 PM

Butterflies, snowflakes and hearts.. Can never have too many.
Blessings

larue 03-06-2012 02:30 PM

Sorry for the hijack, but it is great to hear from you Amber and welcome home.
Big hugs coming your way.
