I have attended one and have purchased SU Stamps before, but tonight I am having my very own workshop. There will only be 5 of us plus the demonstrator. We are to have a great time, I can't wait. What do you serve when you have a workshop? My brain just can't think of anything that sounds good today (old age I think LOL!). Thanks, Debby
How exciting!! I love going to workshops more than doing the workshops myself. I would also suggest serving "veggies & dips". Another fun snack is "chicken nuggets or small appetizer". Something small but filling would be nice.
I've been to stamping parties where wine was served, in addition to other drinks...I think I lose all my budgetary inhibitions after a glass of wine (uh oh...........................).

I had one workshop where alcohol was served and the participants had more fun drinking than ordering :-(
Whatever you want to serve will be fine, brownies, snacks, don't get too UPTIGHT about it and enjoy the fun part of the workshop.
My suggestion would be to keep it simple. Nothing to "icky" on the fingers... I found that my guests were to busy stamping and looking at my catalog to really snack. I actually had to pass around the snack tray. Another suggestion is to buy small bottles of water. This way if it gets knocked over on the table nothing is ruined because its been capped. (hopefully)
Keep it simple keeps it smart. Best of luck!!!
P.s have some fun!!!
I just had my first SU party not too long ago and it was GREAT! I served veggies and dip, crackers and a cheese ball, and of course chocolate! People didn't eat very much, even though we started right after work and went until after 7pm. I had a TON left over, so I wouldn't worry about having a lot of food.
At my last party my ladies enjoyed the M&Ms and Skittles. They could snack on them while stamping and flipping through the catalogue and not worry about getting dirty.
I also served veggies and dip and nachos and dip, but nobody got into that until after they were all done with their ordering.
Well, I served veggies and dip, some cheese and crackers, and some chips and salsa, and had a chocolate pudding cake for dessert. Wine, soda, and offered coffee but no on wanted any. And Yes, those of us...including me....that drank the wine BOUGHT MORE...LOL! You don't need to serve that much...I'm from an Italian family and it's in my genes to serve too much food to my guests...LOL.
M&Ms are good too, and grapes...easy on the fingers.
Have FUN!!

SU Demonstrator...loving what I do!!
I was the demo for a workshop Tuesday and the hostess served a cucumber dip w/ crackers YUMMY! along with a cheese ball and a bowl of starbursts. It was just perfect. Not alot of food to distract the people from ordering.
Besides getting all the hostess rewards, getting the snacks ready for a party is a lot of fun. Most of my friends are very repeat customers so I have to entice them with desserts.
What else? Chocolate!
Chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate caramel brownies, chocolate candies in a dish! A few of my favorites.
I have also done some veggies, dips, pretzels, caramel apple dip. Nothing too fancy and not too heavy. A friend served a chocolate-mocha-mousse-dessert that was heaven too.
Thank you everyone for all of the great suggestions. I love the M&M idea....so will my husband!!!! I think I will do that and maybe some pretzels and dip or veggies and dip. Thanks again!!!
