Default Distressed curled look?

Hi-

I have a question..how do you do this technique? It looks like people cut the paper, and then curl the edge of the paper some how..is there a way to easily do this? I like this look and I also like using ink as well (which I CAN do!) HA!

You sort of have to scrape the edges of the paper, either with a scissor blade or your fingernail. It takes a bit of work but eventually the edges wear thin and you can encourage that curling edge look by rolling the paper a bit.

Yes, I do what Linda says. I tend to use my scissors mostly for this.

You could also try the pink round Heidi Swapp edge distresser. SU also has a similar tool. They work great!

I use this Heidi Swapp tool that I picked up for 99 cents at Archivers. Love it!

I have a Tim Holtz paper distresser, love it it curls and roughs up the edges.

I've just barely wet my finget tips and rolled the paper with them. I get the effect that I want that way.
