Default Dish towel card holder???

I was in a new craft store in our area the other day (ok, so I have been in there SEVERAL times lately) and someone used a dishtowel to make a card holder. Does anyone here have directions? (She also had a bunch of hand made cards- beautiful!!!) The dish towel held a set of cards, pen, stamps, address book and was tied closed with a ribbon. I am hoping someone has made these.

Are you sure it was a dish towel and not a placemat? I've seen (and made) the fabric placemat stationery holders, but I've not seen it done with a dish towel (I would have thought that a dish towel was too limp to make a nice sturdy cover for the cards).

Yep, it was a dish towel. I may have to go back and buy one to see how it was done.
I bet she did the same technique as a placemat. Thanks.
