Default Composition Book Adhesive QUestion

Hi All!

I have put together a composition notebook for a stamp camp using my xyron machine.

I am confident that the xyron will stick well for a long time.

My Dillema? What alternative SU product or other product would you use that is more cost effective and will still stick in the long run?

PUHLEESE HELP! :?

If you cover it in a way that the front cardstock fold over the edges, it tends to pull, and you'd have to use Sticky tape. If you simply cover the front (up to the edges, but not folding over them) you can use mono. I've done that many times and it holds just fine.

My favorite adhesive for composition book covers is rubber cement! I use the dry-bond method: apply an even coat of rubber cement to both surfaces you wish to bond, let them dry separately, then stick the two glued sides together. Place your paper carefully - it's not adjustable! It's a strong bond that goes all the way to the edges, and it's inexpensive.

Default Adhesive on Composition Book

Crystal Effects works on everything that nothing else works on. I take a small watercolor brush and brush it lightly on. You need to wash your brush with soap and water as soon as you are done or the brush gets hard. Probably the tacky tape we sell now would work also. Carol

Default I use

I use crystal effects and mono adhesive on my comp. books. I use CE for sticking the front cover down and mono for wrapping around to the inside cover and for adhering the inside covers to the book. Mine have held fine.
