Default digital scrapbooking question

Hi everyone,

I have not done any scrapbooking - okay I did do one album but that's it - and I don't really want to get into it. However, I was reading some of the threads on digital scrapbooking and it sounds like a very interesting way to scrapbook. I was researching it a little, but I'm still kind of confused. You still have to buy background papers and embellishments, right? It's just that you download them in digital form right? So, after you download them, can you use them over and over again or do you always have to download more?

Can anyone shed some light on how this works?
Thanks,
Christine

I believe you can use them as many times as you want. They are images saved to your computer, so You will be able to access them anytime. I bought Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook software, and it does the job!
Im sure there are much more advanced ways to digital scrapbook, but I havent gotten that far yet.

Christine you can use them as many times as you want. There is also a lot of free downloads that you can get and use to make layouts with. That's how I started out with digital. I downloaded a couple of feebies and tried doing a couple of layouts and having them printed to decide if I liked scrapping that way.

I also just did some research and firgured out that it is cheaper for me to have my layouts printed professionally in 8x8 size than to buy a archival printer, paper & inks. I scrap in 12x12 size & then resize the layout to 8x8 before I uplaod it for printing.

If you have any other questions please feel free to email me at [email protected]
