Default Help With Old Stamps

I have some old unmounted stamps that I want to get out for my grand daughter to use. They are on a foam backer which has dried out, so the stamps won't stick the blocks anymore. What can I do to make the stamp backs sticky again? I don't really want to put new foam on them-just want a quick fix for now-if she enjoys using them, I may want to do something more permanent.
Thanks!!

You could try a bit of adhesive - Aleene’s Tack It Over and Over is a popular choice to use on bare rubber to make it stick to acrylic blocks and would most likely work well for what you need. If you haven’t used the stuff before, you just add a thin layer and let it dry (many folk dilute it a bit first). It becomes slightly tacky when dry and acts as a temporary adhesive that will keep working so you can use the stamp many times over before you need to “top up” the adhesive.

Have fun with your granddaughter, hope she enjoys the stamps!

Poster tape or double sided tape also works. Any office supply store. I often use poster tape.
