Did anyone order the QVC card kit from CK??
 

Just wondering. Apparently, they're missing K's and D's in 2 different colors of the letter. I belong to CKMB and it seems every other post over there is about the TSV. People are really mad about it. So, I was just curious to see if there was anything about it over here. But, since I don't see anything, I just wondered if anyone ordered it.

Yep, a lot of us SCS'ers bought them too :) There are a couple of threads about it.


Way I see it, yep - it's a mistake and it would be nice for the kit to be correct. But even without those 4 (maybe 8 ) K's and 4 D's I got a heck of a deal with everything that is in that box!

Someone else in the other thread posted a link to a response from the company (on another message board) and said that the letters would be mailed out.

What is CKMB? :confused:

Yes I got the kit(in pink) and I love it. I thought it was well made and the box and albums are so cute. In a fabric cover. Perfect for me to store my cards. I am in the habit of making 2 at a time. One to send and one to keep for inspiration later and the box is perfect to keep them. I love how they have multiple copies of each so I can send one and either save one or use on a sb page

I have read so much on so many boards about people so upset regarding the missing letters. It is a shame and a mistake. I feel really bad that there has been so much strong reaction. Lisa B and Beck H are 2 women who first tried to start their own company and from what I've read (not sure if its true or not) since they are so associated with Creating Keepsakes some manufacterer who are also advertisers didn't like their creating a company that would compete with them. So they dropped the idea. Then they come up with this card kit. Yes its missing some letters. But man what a brew haha! I remember lots of the new sb companies when the industry was brand new and expanding so fast that made lots of mistakes. Personally I feel it was just a mistake and if they handle it with grace and professionalism, I'm not too upset about it, just the strength of peoples reactions.

I know I make mistakes alot. I gave my ILs a calendar that I spent forever on last year with pix of the dds on each page. 12 12 x 12 layouts, and I missspelled (how many s's in that anyway LOL) March....easy word LOL

I just got an e-mail from QVC saying that they are sending the sticker letters to correct the problem, they will be here around Sept 26. I just got my order 10 minutes ago, and I don't even know if my letters are missing! QVC really stands behind their products. I love co's with great customer service! Dina

got 2 of them...I coulld't help it!!! I got it mostly for the box. All of the paper and cards I will use in my scrapbooks. I'm so glad I got the beige before they ran out!

I didn't get an email from QVC but I just got a phone call! They said that they realize the problem and will be shipping the letters on Sept 26th. I am pretty impressed with such a fast response - they have only known about the problem for a day or so. Beth

QVC is nothin' if not THOROUGH, lol! I got an email a few hours ago and then a phone call about 10 minutes ago. They certainly go out of their way to give customers the heads' up!

I got the tan color and I LOVE it. I wish I had gotten another set. How great it is to have a card with everyhing you need in a little envelope and all you need to do is just add glue?!?!?
The missing letters are a mistake. So many people are making it sound like the end of the world. Who hasn't made a mistake? Do they think that it was done on purpose? They are righting their wrong.
Even without the letters it's a great kit. Now I have a stash of cards on hand for all occasions. I might just add myself to the wait-list to get another set! :rolleyes: :D :rolleyes:

I received my pink one today and I LOVE it! I'm really impressed with the quality. I, too, am looking forward to putting these together, without having to measure and "think" about what I want to do! I also wish I had gotten a beige one.

I'm hoping they come out with refills in the future!

I received my card set in blue and it is fantastic! I wish I would have ordered in other colors. Stamping is so much fun, but it is neat to have quick cards to send out when I need them. Plus, QVC said they would mail the missing letters--NO BIG DEAL AT ALL!

Has anyone tried making the cards yet? I made a few of them and I noticed
that I had to cut the cards to fit the pre-cut papers.

mom24kids--I read on another board the papers are smaller to allow for the white border. I've put 4 different styles together so far and they all have the border on them.
