Default did anyone go CRAZY today on QVC?

I have restrained fairly well but could have been really naughty!

Almost, but I cancelled everything but 2 things. I was christmas shopping from hubby to me, but I decided that I would rather place a large order with SU for my stamp club hostess month in October, and just ordered the Anna Griffin tearing rulers and the magnetic word stamp. My SU order will be around 170.00 for myself and my best friend alone, lol, then there are the other orders so I will get some hostess goodies too.

I ordered 4 things and cancelled one. I got the tearing rulers from Lisa Bearnson, the Anna Griffin card-making kit with the templates and the Swatchbooks to go sentiments and alphabet stickers 930 pc. I have the last Brenda Walton kit with the two mini-books in my shopping cart but am waiting a bit to decide. I love the K and Co K-ology line of papers but they are just regular price so I guess no hurry to get them.

I ordered the Quickutz and I haven't even seen an entire presentation! I have all the shows dvr'd and will be watching them ALL tonight after church!! My husband won't be home until late so I'll have some peace and quiet. I love to watch the recorded shows because I just skip over the things I'm not interested in before I watch them long enough to GET interested in them! Does anyone do that? They always make things look soooo easy!

Yeah daisyboo, I tivo and go back and re-watch certain things. I also had today off of work so I could watch live and not miss anything selling out.
Mel, They had a 16 hr scrapbooking fair today and the TSV was a new version of the Quickutz in a color and font exclusive to QVC. It also came with some foam that you can make stamps from and some cute rub-ons and a couple asst. other goodies. It sold for 165. and change which I think is a pretty good deal. They had a couple of birthday specials that were only good in that hr. and a few easy pays but to be honest not a lot of sales or free shipping or easy-pays. I was kind of disappointed even though I managed to spend about 100 dollars. Most of the stuff I got I had seen before, with the exception of a few things. They had a great demo on the new color spritzer in the SU catalog though and it sold out. Great tips and ideas for anyone who saw it. They also had a new and improved version of the perfect layers tool. Sorry to be so long winded but the best thing is to probably go to QVC.com and do a 24 hour product review and see if anything excites you. HTH

I was thinking about getting the stitches rubons but then decided to get the technique tuesday stitch stamp set. Figured hubby couldn't kill me for spending 9.99 versus 18.00 for each set and I would have ordered 3 sets.

Gee Robyn, can you say enabler! Too funny. I purposely stay away from QVC, not because I have anything against it but because I'm sure once I got going, I wouldn't stop. Lately I've been under a ton of stress and I tend to use retail therapy as my release. Not good. One more reason why I should stop being a SU demonstrator - too easy to get my therapy fix. QVC would be just as bad for me.

My DH came home and was like why is QVC on the computer?? I told him it was a scrapbooking day and he said that he thought it was only jewelry and clothes. Little does he know, hee hee. Well, he'll find out when the next m/c bill comes in!!

I didn't purchase anything. I had to work today so couldn't watch it. I watched it last night because on the west coast it started at 9 p.m. instead of midnight. But I a resisted and didn't order.

I bought 4 or 5 things (mini books, daisies, stitches, and I forgot what else). I might have purchased the Quickuts if I didn't already have the Cricut. I love QVC's scrapbook days...just bummed there isn't another one this year.

I started to watch, then got far away from the TV before I was tempted. I have so many things already, and I just love gadgets. I did see the Quick Kutz demo, and it looked very interesting. I've ordered things in the past that are still seldom used. I'm too easily swayed. Eileen

I like to watch too but never ever order. Which is funny because I online and catalog shop all the time, but refuse to TV shop

How is there shipping? Is it fairly worthwhile to purchase from them?

Shipping was only $4.95. I thought it was pretty good considering my total. Not saying!

Nope just watched it while making dinner. Really wanted to order the Cricut from last time....mebbe for Christmas? DH wants something that's about $500. Hmmm.

Then I heard the UPS truck. Lo and behold he delivered my autodelivery Christmas bag & card set from my last QVC order! Huge box. It was all I could do to get it off the porch and downstairs under my craft table before hubby came home!

I resisted. How, I don't really know- proabably b/c I was at work all day and only caught the last hour or so...

Still, I almost broke down and bought the uptown and downtown ribbon collections they had on at 7:45 pm EST. In fact, I'm going online today to see what I missed and if there is any ribbon left. (like I need more ribbon??)

DBF cracks up when I watch the craft shows on QVC or HSN.... especially if they have a really cheesy moment...but he is very supportive of my crafting in general.

Nope! Didn't buy a thing. Kept telling myself I need to use WHAT I HAVE. And it worked. Of course, I said it a LOT. LOL
Besides I'm waiting for my own order from SU. I was my own party.

I think I was good! All I bought was the set of Xyron Cheetahs. I'm in the market for new adhesives to try for all different purposes, thought this would be worth a shot!!!

I didn't go crazy, but I did buy the Quickutz and the Herbanella stickers. Now I need to finish cleaning out craft stuff so I can sell some stuff to pay for the Quickutz.
