Default Coolest Stamping Products of 2006?!?!

Kudos to the Basic Grey team for coming up with this great their new magnetic snaps. It looks like a load of fun. You can actually see a video of how they are used at their site

http://www.basicgrey.com/ (see the video at the bottom)

That said, what do you think is the best stamping/scrapbooking product developed in 2006?;)

yup, i thought so too... you can imagine after seeing that thing just some of the tricks you could perform. I'm sure most can relate to figuring out how to get the flap of a gift box to stay shut...creatively.

that sounds cool too...do you know if they have a place to view online? Do you have to use the envelope setting or are they thin enough to go through just like paper?

if this stamp machine ever comes to the us (currently in Australia) it could be loads of fun making stamps from photos for scrapbooking...

The Crop-a-dile! No more headaches from banging eyelets - woohoo! Snap stamps seem to be all the rage. I love scrapper's floss too!

Wow, love these but I would be worried about having them in my scrap room, too much computerized stuff in there.

I'd have to say crop-a-dile as well... but I'm not sure if it was actually developed in 2006- or just when it "hit it big"

I looked at that and started to think, cool, my sister is living in Melbourne, but will be moving back to the US before Christmas, so I could ask her to buy one and bring it to me. Uh, then I finally saw the page with the price - US $465! That would buy a ton of premade stamps. Still, if you wanted special stamps you couldn't find anywhere else, or if you could go in with a group of friends who could all use it, then it might be worth it.

Oh, back to the original question, I also vote for the Crop-a-dile. I tried one at a friend's house and thought it was great, so I used a Michael's 50% off coupon.

The new die cut machines like Cricut were a cool innovation, but still way too expensive. I remember when the Xyron came out and the price half what it was, so there is hope.

I am a big fan of the Heidi Swapp bling frames, myself. Whoever invented the way to use sequins in patterns without making us place each one is a super crafter!!!

Cricut gets my vote too...even though I don't have one. BUT, I do drool on the one in the display case at Michael's about once a week.
