Question Bag-A-Lope help

I know I must be doing something wrong, but the bottom of my bag-a-lope looks like I squashed it together. Any tips on keeping clean, straight edges?

The only thing I can think of is, did you use your bone folder??? It really helps to keep the creases nice.
