Default demo checking account question

For demos with a seperate checking account for SU, do you have a personal checking account or a business account? I am waiting on my new catty and then I will send off my paperwork. Yeah! So I am trying to get some "business" stuff done right now. If a business account, what is it under? thanks

Amanda,
Get a personal checking account. The fees and "daily account balances" are ridiculous for a business account. I have free checking at Wachovia and I didn't get checks - just a check card that I use to place orders with SU. The account manager told me personal checking is the way to go in my situation. Business accounts are really for bigger businesses. Does that help you? Hope so... Wendi

I agree. I went and opened a separate personal account and only use it for SU. I don't have a huge business, mainly me and some friends and coworkers. But I figured if it became bigger, it'd be easier to manage separately.

I agree...personal is the way to go. As long as you keep your SU money separate from your "other" money, the IRS is happy. Even if you do become "big" you should be fine still. Business accounts have more costs and restrictions attached to them.

Amanda-
I just opened a personal account. I decided not to order checks, but have a debit/credit card with the account. I don't think I will need checks.

We will have to keep in contact as I am sending my paperwork in next week too! Good luck!
