Default Trying to find Post-It tape...

I cannot find this product anywhere in our local stores, like Walmart and Office Max. I'm sure I read on here that it comes in several widths and I would like to use it for masking. Anyone have a suggestion where it can be found? Maybe a franchise store in a larger city will have it. BTW, I've never located the metallic gold Sharpie marker around here either. The stores are full of metallic silver.

Did I dream all this?

You didn't dream it... it's just hard to find. I bought some at a local scrapbook store in Wheaton, IL. The package has a web address http://www.3M.com/office and the tape comes in 1, 2, and 3 line widths (originally made to temporarily cover lines of text when photocopying). Try the web site and maybe you can order Post-It tape directly from 3M.

Where in Idaho?? I have relatives in Sand Point.

I believe you are looking for Avery self-adhesive correction tape. It comes in 3 or 4 widths: 1 line, 2 line, 4 line etc. It works just like post-it --peels on and off multiple times. I know Office Max/Depot carries it. Never looked for it at Walmart.

Oh thank you for letting me know I wasn't losing my mind!
I looked in two major stores and two smaller office supply places who looked at me like I had 3 eyes or something!! No Post-It or Avery correction tape (although one place had a really cool tag that is actually a laminate sheet....to be sure there's a good use for that..lol).

Thank you for your offer, Keri. We are going to Boise this week to pick up son at airport and I'll see what the Staples has to offer there.

E Waterous, we live at the other end of the state near Twin Falls, Idaho. It's a big state!! The son of a very dear friend (who has since passed away) had a Christmas tree farm in Sandpoint years ago!!!

I think you are talking about this product:

Post-It® Labeling Cover-Up & Correction Tape, 1/6" (1-Line) x 700"

Removable tape covers whole lines and paragraphs in a snap!

Ideal for making changes — Just pull it off the roll and paste it on!
Lifts off for easy repositioning.
Won’t show up on your photocopies.
Write, type or print right over it.
They have it at Viking.com

I haven't been able to find it in my local stores either -- inc. Office Max. Is it in the same isle as White-Out brand?

Gold Sharpies' aren't on the market yet. There were some quality issues and they were withdrawn from the stores until they were improved. However, they should be out soon!! HTH

Fedex Kinko's carries it and you can use it for free in the store or buy it.

I've found it at Staples. Check near the white out bottles and correction pens. It is not with the tapes and glues. Good Luck
