Default Decorating cereal boxes for my magazines.

Does anyone else decorate cereal boxes.for thier magazines.I just decorated one and if I was set up for it I would show it too you but I'm not.I just decorated a cereal box for all of my mini catalogs.to hole them in.Then when I need to go back to look thru them I know where they are.

I am saving up for more cereal boxes to use after there empty.so I can use them to organize all my magazines by companies.Like all SU magazines.TAC,CTMH,HERO,

Then of course thiers the scrap and stamp, making memories, paper crafts, all my stampington and companies, stamp vamp news,I find it is so much easier to find a copy of a certain issue if there all together like this.

How do you store your magazines what is your method and do you have decorative boxes for them.if you do I would love to see some more ideas.

I have used the priority mail boxes for my magazines and some 12 x 12 paper. These are the longer skinnier ones that some of my TAC orders come in and also some of my design team kits. They are so sturdy and work great! I had looked at the cereal boxes but didn't know if they would be sturdy enough like the corrugated cardboard that the priority boxes are.

No, but that sounds like a great idea, though!

Dang it...I think dh just threw away a bunch of almost empty cereal boxes. Hmmm...I just might steal his new box and leave him with just the bag. He's going to think I'm crazy.

I used to buy Palmolive diswasher liquid at Sam's Club. The box that the 2 bottles came in were a fantastic size to decorate for magazines. They are a bit wider so more magazines fit inside. The box is also very sturdy. I decorated mine with b/w toile fabric, wide black satin ribbon and gingham ribbon. Would love to post a photo but I do not know how. (Guess my talents are in decorating boxes and not technology)

I used them undecorated, but I have used cereal boxes as dividers in cupboards. They do tend to be a little flimsy, and "lean" if there is extra space. A couple of ideas - double up the boxes - some are slightly smaller and will fit inside. Staple the sides together and make a row of 3 or 4. Cut off one of the narrow sides, have the box sit on the other narrow side - the open top makes room for taller items - though it is less sturdy.
