Default dazzling diamonds & irridescent ice

I'm not clear on what the difference is in effect. Can't tell from the gallery pics. When you 'set' DD with heat and stick or whatever you can use, does the glitter still get everywhere? What's difference in the look between the 2 on cards? Trying to decide what to get. Thanks so much for your help!

DD is a basic glitter - you can adhere it using a liquid glue (like 2 way glue) or crystal effects - you can also attach it using heat and stick powder - you would have to use versmark or craft ink to stamp the image dump heat and stick on and heat up - then dump the DD on...

II is an embossing powder - you can stamp your image with versamark or craft and then dump the II on and heat up...you can also do faux diamond with this - stamp and color image then versamark the whole thing and dump II on it and heat - give it a great shimmer...another thing I like to do is use a versamarker to highlight certain areas and then use II on it...also I have used a versamarker like a blender pen with WWC - blend the colors using versamark, dump the EP on and you have a great effect...

DD is very glittery whereas II has a nice muted sparkle to it.

I do use both but if I were going to pick just one I would choose II...I use that a lot more then I do my DD glitter

however...getting both is really the way to go...

In my experience, they both get on you! Also, with Iridescent Ice, if you overheat it, it loses the sparkle.
