Now that I have my growing wish list for CHF.....do they have frequent sales where it would be to my benefit to wait to order, or should I just go for it?

Well, I definitely used their recent 10% off Memorial Weekend sale as an excuse to buy more! I think their free shipping after $25.00 is more of an incentive, but any little bit extra helps.

I agree with the others. I did order during their last sale but with free shipping over 25.00 I go for it anytime. They're prices are good even without sales so I find it worth it.
I made my first order on Memorial Day for the 10% off sale. However, the free shipping after $25 is more of an incentive to me.
I will say this, my order came quickly and I was very pleased with it. I think their background stamps are as good as SU's. I can't figure out why people will pay big $$$ on ebay for Paisley, when they can get one just as good on CHF.
I personally don't own any stamps of higher quality. The deep etching and wonderful rubber are just "delicious" to me! LOL! The free and fast shipping just makes this dealer addictive!
I took advantage of their 10% sale but to me that isn't enough to keep me waiting for the next sale. Some of my stamping ladies saw their catalog and they are ready to place an order...like right now! So we will hit the $25.00 and save again on shipping.
We go unmounted and save even more since DH will mount mine and the backgrounds don't really need to be mounted the way I use them.
I used my CHF chicken wire stamp for the first time this afternoon and it is wonderful! I am so glad to have been able to order from there and get this awesome background. When I ordered mine, it also came very fast (to Canada). They are a pleasure to deal with.
Annabelle, would you just buy one large acrylic block to use with it?
If you have any of the SU BG stamps, you can mount the CHF Cling-mounted BG on the sticker part of the wood block that your SU BGs are on.
I originally did not have a block to use with my UM'd BGs and used them by lying them face up on the table, but since I got a BG with a block, I find it much more convenient to use the CHF BGs with a block. Hope tha tmakes sense!
Nope, I don't mount them at all. Just lay them rubber side up on your flat table, ink, lay cardstock on top with a piece of paper over that and rub with your hand! Lift and you will have a perfect impression. Mahloumel's solution is also great if you want to stamp down on something.
I was watching the World Cup yesterday and they showed a close up of the goal. Want to know what the net design looked like?????? The CHF chicken wire pattern! Wheels are turning!!
Yes, they now have a monthly "package" deal -- where in addition to any other bargains, they offer a set. This month's is a set of Father's day related stamps. This is the only company I buy from other than SU. They are the nicest people I have ever dealt with and their background and monogram stamps are a joy to stamp with.
