My Mike's will take Joann's coupon AS LONG AS IT'S NOT PRINTED FROM THE COMPUTER.. We don't have an AC Moore or Hobby Lobby here so I don't know if they would even honor coupons from them and we don't get them in our paper anyways....
I forgot to mention I can use a Joann'es coupon anytime even if Mike's doesn't have a coupion in the paper that week.. HTH!

Unless they have just recently changed this, you are not able to do this at any of the M's in my area...only if they have a coupon that week and they never accept computer generated ones.
I had trouble the other day with a Michael's checkout person at first refusing to take my computer generated Michael's coupon! It said right on the sheet above the coupon to print this coupon and bring in to the store. After much arm-crossing (her not me), she finally went and asked someone else and they said, yes, that one was fine - it was the other store coupons that couldn't be printed and accepted.
I was just there yesterday, they took my Joann coupon no problem at all. I've always been told not only can you use Joann's coupons, you can use one Joann & one Michael's at the same time, just not the computer printed ones.
I use the Hobby Lobby coupon I print from their website at Michaels all the time with no problems, whether they have a coupon that week or not. If I have printed more than one they will usually take multiple in one transaction. Joanns also will take HL coupons.
Lol. Good luck at M's. It seems it totally depends on the cashier, the manager, the store 'policy', the day of the week, the ad in the paper, the corporate office, and finally if Jupiter aligns with Mars.
My experience with coupons at M's: My gf tried to buy a Cuttlebug with her 40% off coupon, cashier said no, manager said no, and I tried to debate their stance. It was a stand off. We left--with our money and no CB.
When I wrote corporate they said yes you can use the coupon on the Cuttlebug.... and the next day the CB was on sale for 50% off. Jupiter aligned with Mars on that day. My gf saved 10% more. HA!
I was going to say exactly what Shirolives said. It depends on the store, the person at the register, the manager. I've had the CB discussion with them for several of my friends, and finally got the per cent off for them. I keep recommending the CB to my senior stamping group, and when the senior center tried to get one, they wouldn't accept the coupon until I stood my ground. I always try the coupons at all the stores, and see what happens.

My experience with Michaels has been that the store employees including the manager don't know the products in the store (they only work there). Therefore they are not familiar with the different manufacturers and the products. Since Cricut and Cuttlebug have similar names (in the store employee's minds) they feel the exclusion for the Cricut products includes Cuttlebug products.
It all comes down to the employees don't know the products that are carried in their store and actually WHAT the products are.
Ok, there may be a few people/stores that do know, but my experience in reference to 3 stores in my area has been a negative one.
If they would try to just ring up the products and scan the coupon, they would see that the register WILL take it. Otherwise the register will reject the Cricut products.

LOL I tried to explain it during my stand off like this:
Ford makes cars. Imagine a F150 truck and a Taurus.
Provo Craft makes cutting machines. Imagine a Cricut and a Cuttlebug.
The wording on the coupon is something like 'not good on Cricut stuff'. We wanted a Cuttlebug not a Cricut anything. We wanted the F150 not the Taurus.
They didn't get it. They only worked there.
Sorry for the thread hijack. Off my soapbox now. lol.
Good luck on your coupon exchange! My advice would be to try it, you might be able to buy it.
