Which cutter to you recommend?
 

I have the regular purple 12" Fiskar cutter, plus the big grey Fiskars that cuts 12 X 12 and has several blades for Deckle, scalloped etc. Trouble is they all only cut 2 pieces of cardstock at a time. The purple Fiskars blades seem to go dull after about 12 cuts! Then I get all the ragged edges for all my cuts. Frustrating.

After cutting 48 cards the other night until 1: 45 am for a class, I decided to get a better cutter. Which cutters do you use and why? I need something much more efficient than the Fiskars, 2 sheets at a time, cutters.

I recently splurged and bought a Carl Cutter. I LOVE it!! :D
It will cut 12, yes 12, sheets of cardstock!! :shock:
It may do more, but that is the most I have tried.
It took a little getting used to, but I really am happy with it.

Someone told me the carl cutter is great for cutting the big card stock, but not so easy for the smaller pieces. Is this your experieince too?

What carl cutter do you have, I know there are several?

Can I ask how much you paid for it? Where did you get it?

I have the Carl Cutter DC238. I love it. I can cut about 8 sheets at a time, no problem. And when I'm doing that many, I make sure I'm real careful to line them up just right. The only downside is cutting tiny pieces (less than 1 3/4" ). If I know I need a few, I'll start with a big piece and work my way down. Gives me a chance to practice my math! I do have my rotary fiskars cutter for small stuff, but I can only do one piece at a time.
