I got a pkg today from Lana. She stamped a bunch of images for me with new stamps! I am so excited!!!! I love that butterfly. And she stamped a BUNCH of the new bug ones. I can't believe you stamped so MANY of the sandwich ones!! Comstock has a HUGE 4th of July celebration even though the population is only 62ish. We have my family come here after the parade for a BBQ and then go back to the park for all the games. I am going to use these to make invitations to send to my family. Can't wait to play with them. I have to leave in a little bit to go to town to get parts w/ DH, so won't be able to play til later.

No BBC here. It is always something fast-just burgers and hotdogs on the grill. They have a parade that starts at 10:30 (we live a mile from Comstock-actually called a village), then we come here for BBQ, then head back to Comstock for games in the park from wee ones to 100. They have penny toss, 3-legged races, potato sack races, regular races, turtle race (actual turtles-we need to go find some), egg toss. You get 75 cents for first, 50 cents for second and a quarter for third place. Then there is music, lip sync, etc. Then they have old fashioned baseball in original attire that is fun to watch, then softball games til dark and the best fireworks around. There is also horseshoe games and sand volleyball tournaments going on at all times, plus homemade ice cream and pie....
