Default How long should an SU order take?

I have been dealing with a demo I have not ordered from before, and I am wondering how long an order placed with stampin up should take to arrive to the demo? I got an email from stampin up last wed saying they were charging my card so I know they got the order.

Thanks!

It depends on how busy it is at SU. Right now, things are taking between 2 to 4 or 5 days to pick (for SU to get to them and fill the order). And then it depends on how long it takes for UPS to ship to you. I live in a suburb of Kansas City and it takes 3 business days for orders to get to me from SU. And order I placed last week is shipping today so I should have my order on Monday.

Hope that helps!

That depends....when I was a SU demo, shipping alone would take about a week for it to get to me here in Virginia. Then of course it would depend on how long it took SU to pick the order and actually ship it. So really it could take a week and a half to two weeks to get to the East Coast. Where is the demo?

The picking time is a little longer than usual right now, with the retired lists and all.

It depends on how long SU is taking to pick and ship orders, and then on where in the country you are. I am in NY, and it takes 7 days from the day that SU ships the package for it to get to me. I usually get billed the day it shipped, or the day after. Hope that helps.

on the east coast it takes 7-10 business days for shipping alone

as a previous poster said this doesn't count fulfillment time

so if I submit an order today I'll get a notification that my credit card has been charged. it will then take SU anywhere from 1-4 days to fill the order (depending on time of month, promotions, etc.). from there it will be another 7-10 days depending on the day of the week the order ships before it lands on my door step

in general I allow for 14 days on the east coast

Thanks for the info! I am in Nevada, so I wouldn't think shipping should take too long, but I wasn't thinking of the longer packing time due to the retiring stuff.

It's not only retiring stuff but also what month it is. In order to stay an active demonstrator, you have to place orders of at least $300 each quarter. For those demonstrators who didn't place enough by the end of June, you go into what's called pending status, which means you have until the end of July to make up the shortfall for the April-June quarter plus $100 towards the current July-Sept or you get dropped as a demonstrator. There is always an extra delay with orders placed at the end of any pending month due to the increase in orders to remain active. If that month includes the end or beginning of any sales promotions or anything like retiring stuff, then the volume of orders increases where it can take quite a while before SU ever starts packing up the order.

I'm in Indiana and it usually takes a week or less from the time my demo (who is in Iowa) orders it. Now, that being said, I know (as a former demo) that during convention a lot of the people are at convention so things can take a little longer. Especially with the catty change over. JMO

Can't wait to get my new catty. I order from my demo through email and it gets processed (by her) right away.

I live in NJ and it can take sometimes 3 wks for me to find out my Consultant has my items. Then I have to arrange a time she will be home to get them from her. I have no control as to when she places the order from when I give it to her. I still feel it's a long time though.

I'm in WI, and the last order I placed was placed Saturday afternoon.........it didn't ship till yesterday, and I won't have it till next Tuesday, (and that's only if I don't get a rescheduled delivery, which happens about 25% of the time for me), ................so with the current picking status we're looking at 10 days minimum. (at least for me in WI)

When I place an order with my demo it usually takes about week and a half depending on when I place my order and I live in MA. She always ships it right to me so I don't have to worry about going to get it from her and or her dropping it off to me. I placed an order last Tues and she emailed me on Friday saying that it had shippig that day and I should have it today. I imagine it took a little longer than usual to process because of the retirement accessory list coming out last week.
