Question When would you use this stamp?

I have the retired SU set Quick & Cute. I have used all the stamps except for the one with the Quote " When it's dark enough, you can see the stars. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson. When would you use that stamp? There are some wonderful card ideas in the gallery. This link will take you to the index pic.Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I didn't use that set very much either and have donated it to a mission. But I did use that saying a few times for people who were going through tough times and I combined it with some of the Bible verse stamps.

I have used it for someone whose spouse died and another time for someone diagnosed with cancer.

Default To me it is...

a way to say thank you to someone who helped me in my hour of need.

The dark reference suggests I was going through a bad patch in my life, and seeing the stars is when you recognize who your friends really are because they were there for you.

Default Thanks for the replys!

That gives me some ideas. I really like the Thank you idea. I wouldn't have thought of that!

I just hate having stamps I never use. Sometimes that happens though when you buy in sets! :( Keep the great ideas coming!!

Thanks again!

I have this card in my favorites:

I think it's a nice sentiment for someone going through a difficult time, etc.

Actually, that's the only one from that set that I really, really liked. I love that saying.

To me, it means that even when you go through a tough time, good things can come out of it.

I agree with the other posters. This is appropriate for a dark period in a life; emerging to see what's truly important!
