Creature comforts in Stamp places
I am wondering what kinds of things you have in your stamp areas that are not necessarily stamp related. Here are mine:
tissues
jelly beans in a basket
computer
phone
TV---hope to get a DVD in there to!
pencil sharpener
heater, I am in the basement and there are no windows
pictures on white frames on the walls--of the family and some beach shots
hand lotion
lip gloss
I want to get it to be more homey!

I have chocolate, candles and coffee maker
As well as my zoo memorabilia and pictures of family and friends
My cookbooks (100's) reside there too, fitting since the first thing I ever scrapbooked was our families recipes

My stamping space
My stamping room is also the office, so there's the computer and all the office stuff in here, as well as a secret stash of liquorice in one of the drawers (and I'm NOT telling you which one!)
It's a very small room - about 8 feet square, but my Rough Collie (Lassie Dog), Max insists on being in here with me, which can cause problems when I'm trying to get to things!
The best bit is that I have a lovely view of the cows in the fields across the valley! I'm a country girl!

A coaster so I can put my glass of Diet A&W Rootbeer (tastes like Wintergreen Tic Tacks in a liquid form!) on the table with me. I also have a chocolate stash behind me, but I usually don't eat while I stamp.

All the usual things plus a plastic ice cream container (empty!) with an old washcloth in it that the kitten sleeps in all the time when I'm at my desk. Better there than the project I'm working on ...! LOL Also a wire washing line-type thing above the desk where I put my newly made cards and cards I've received for awhile to enjoy them. It's like having a little private art gallery in my nook!

In my basement stamping room, I have
A heater
A small handwashing sink
My Ipod and Ipod dock
My electric teapot, mug, and teabags
A candle warmer with candles
Pictures of my dogs
A glass ring saw, glass grinder, various stained glass projects in all stages of completion. (The other half of my stamping space is my stained glass studio)
A comfy chair for "pondering" my next projects.

I have
a calendar
Wooden letters on top of my cabinets that say "Create"
the family computer is up there
a sofa
my kids lego table
the kids karaoke machine
It's no where near what I want though. I can't wait to fix it up and get a TV up there, and some more decorations on the walls. (First I need to paint though).

Bed, dressers, computer desk... (:
Our master bedroom is huge and there are not extra rooms for me to have my own room, nor do we have a basement (Texas rock is hard to dig through)...
I have to have a TV with directv... the only thing I really have to have is a coaster for my drink... I don't usually eat when I'm stampin, I'm a messy stamper and eater and the two don't mix well.

I am pretty spoiled when it comes to "my" room. I have an entire bedroom all to myself.
Laptop
30inch TV/DVD combo w/satellite
Awesome view
Kiddo's (doggies) come and go as they please
Big ole' bowl of pistachio's
All the gadgets you could dream of.....................
And pretty soon I will have an ENTIRE house to play in.

I have a little TV which I always have on for the noise, Like someone else mentioned I also have to deal with the washer and dryer invading my space , but I did put up a ceiling to floor curtain to hide that hideous view. At least my view from the window is beautiful. One of the best things is a big ol cushy comfortable office chair on wheels and it twirls around too. I can sit there for hours.

My husband and I built a large stamping area for me with kitchen cabinets two years ago this month. He thought I was through asking for stuff but little did he know what I could come up with over time. The first Christmas after I got my stamping area.....I asked for a computer and scanner of my own..Got it!!! I wanted it built in to to match my cabinets....got it!! I asked for a flat screen tv so it wouldn't take up much room on my counter.....got it!!! Then I whined until I got our cable company digital recorder so I can record stuff and so I can *pause the show* while I have to leave stamping area to do mundane things like stirring pot of soup on stove, put clothes in the dryer, take the dog out, etc. I just wish I could wiggle my nose to keep the area neat and comfortable. I am a messy stamper.

All I have is white Christmas lights and the only reason I have these is because the lighting in my livingroom is the pits. I do like the look though.

I have chocolate, and a TV. I did have candles at one time, but I was afraid I would start a fire since I tend to toss paper around quite frequently. My old room had a comfy arm chair, but my new space doesn't have the room for it. I found I didn't use it much, though the cat did. It was just another surface to toss stuff onto.
I'm just down the hall from the kitchen, and I need to get up and move or I'll lose track of time, so I don't plan on having coffee/tea stuff in there.

I have just about everything everyone else does. I have a radio and a TV, but I don't watch the TV - find it too distracting. I also have a lot of junk which I want to get cleaned out so I can make it more my stamp room and less of the dumping ground for stuff we need to deal with when we have free time. I got a laptop so I could have the computer down there and surf SCS but I can't get the wireless scanner to work. If I could get the scanner to work I'm not sure I would ever leave that room except for meals and sleep - or maybe to take care of the family.

My stamping/craft space is in what was our master bedroom before we put the addition on our house this summer ... it was never a very big room, and we lost a little bit of it becuase of the way the hallway had to be extended in order to get to the new part, but we still manage to fit quite a bit in there and have enough room that it doesn't feel cramped. We have a lot of stuff in there as it is also our "office". My husband has his computer desk in one corner, my boys have a small computer desk with their computer on it and my computer area is tucked in where our closet used to be. My stampin' stuff lines the two remaining walls. I love having my computer so close. Our washer/dryer (Whirlpool stackables) are in what used to be our master bathroom which was very small -- it was only a 1/2 bath. Creature comforts -- obviously my computer/printers/scanner, but the best thing is the under-the-cabinet TV/DVD combo unit I got for Christmas. It's pretty cool, I have it hooked up so I can turn on the satellite receiver in the bedroom and whatever is on in there I can see in the craft room ... that same unit will also play CD's and has a radio tuner in it, so whatever "entertainment" I want I can pretty much get. I have one of those battery operated candles -- kind of a nice way to get the effect of a candle without worrying about catching things on fire I was previously in the basement -- I like being upstairs better and although I wondered if it would be weird to be sharing "my space" with my husband (he's on his computer more often than not ...) it hasn't been bad, in fact it's kind of nice, we actually see each other a little more and he's wearing headphones most of the time anyway

I used to think I had a pretty good setup, but now I'm thinkin'...
To be completely honest, I'm a bit jealous of those of you with your own scanners right next to your stamping tables, and mini refrigerators within an arms reach, but the thing I'm the most envious is: the candy!!!

My stamping room is a den that is open, no door no closets. It opens into the living room so I can watch TV or listen to the stereo if I want to. I have the computer (which I could view DVD's or listen to music on if I wanted to I guess), scanner and printer behind me. I lucked out when we bought the computer and got a decent scanner and printer without knowing what I really needed.
Lots and lots of pictures on the wall, Papertowel holder, calendar, clock, coaster, babywipes, pretty much everything within rolling distance. And of course all the necessary "machines" for stamping! Our house is pretty tiny(less to clean, more time to stamp?), there is just DH & I, and the kitchen is really close (and the bathroom TG!) I love the open plan, in my other place I had a stamp room but it was way in the back of the house shut off from everything and it was a little more lonesome. Life is good!
