Default French script or linograph?

So which one should I go for first? I'm undecided... I love the elegant look of the french script & linograph looks fun...
So which one do u think is more versatile? I'm mostly a flower & leaves girl & I don't make cutesy cards, a feeble attempt to describe my style

Thanks

I know this doesn't help much but I LOVE them both! Lino is great with more modern looking sets as well as masculine etc. sets but French Script is soooo fab with more traditional style sets....which do you have?

I would go with French Script if you are a flower & leaves kinda gal. I just think it would look better. It looks so elegant. I love Linograph too, but if you stamp with flowers & leaves I would go with the French.

I was just checking out your great gallery and noticed you seem to use a lot of beautiful bright colors and nice clean lines so from what I can see....maybe the Lino. Please post some more! I want to see what you've been making lately!

My two favs are french script and print pattern. They are so fun to use expecially with the flower stamps.

I love my French script - couldn't live without it (well, maybe I could live, but I definitely couldn't stamp without it)! One thing I like, is since I don't know French (and hopefully, neither does the recipient);)... I can use it for any kind of card, get well, sympathy, friendship, ect.

Also, sometimes I lightly press it on a background, turn the paper slightly and press again, repeating several times, and it kind of gives it that aged BG, instead of just doing it straight. I am not very good at explaining, so here is one where I combined it with the canvas BG:

I hope this helps - either one will be great I am sure!

Julia, u r the sole reason for me wanting to get lino!! Thanks to the awesome cards u have been churning out using the lino (pls don't get me wrong, all ur cards r awesome, i'm ur big fan Seriously, i wasn't a fan of lino until i saw ur cards.... I think since u r the culprit, i shld be getting the stamp from you ;) LOL!
I haven't been playing lately, a major slump. Ofcourse that doesn't deter me from hoarding stamping supplies.

Get both??? No, seriously, go with French Script! It is so versatile and it more likely to be retired sooner than linograph, which just came out. Does that make sense???

Smile Which background stamp

I would get the French Script. It can be used with formal, abstract, flowers, etc. You can use all of the stamp or just a part. It is very versatile. For one year I only had French Script and used it for everything. Better put some more pictures on the gallery.

Enjoy your choice!

Hugs, Cathy

Enjoy life and take time to smell the roses!
