I have been watching the adds for 2 months now and haven't seen a coupon for anything except for the 50% off framing they always have. (honestly, why do you need a coupon for something that you always offer?)
Did I somehow miss a week? Do they only do it around Christmas time?
I really need a new rolling tote and don't wnat to spend the big bucks on one.

Are they only in the newspaper adds? I view it online, not in paper form. Is that the difference? Why aren't the online adds the same as the paper ones I wonder?
Even though I get their e-mail newspaper adds I have yet to see a coupon on it. It is sort of like Joanns- you can get their adds at the check out but it won't have the coupon.
That stinks. Is it in every sunday paper? My closeset store is 45 minutes away so I have to plan a shopping trip and don't have time this weekend to go, what with a 6 yr olds army birthday party and all.
So how often do they show up, and is it a regional thing? Dang this is frustrating sometimes.
The e-mailed ad and the on-line ad do not have the coupons - only the printed one does. I have recently begun receiving the M's ad with my paper. There usually is a 40% off coupon, but not every time.
They probably do not put an coupon on their e-ads so people aren't using multiple coupons in one week, since you could print as many as you want.

Around here we get them about every other week in Sunday's paper, BUT there has been a sale flyer w/ coupons the last 2 weeks...just when you think you've got things figured out, they change things up on you!;)
I just got one in the mail yesterday in the Wed flier:
50% off Custom framing Sunday April 1- 7th
40% off any one item April 2-5th
50% off any one item Friday, April 6th ONLY
30% off any one item Sat, April 7th ONLY
50% off any one item Sunday, April 1st ONLY
I asked this question at my Michael's because their ad does NOT come in the paper that is delivered here even though it is the paper from the *big* city where M's is located. She said they only put it in the papers that are delivered locally (within a few miles of the store) and don't even put it in the newstand papers.
I was told that if they have a flier on-line, there will be coupon in the print version. They do not put it on-line because of the counterfeit possibility. It is usually 40% but will sometimes be 50% and to to call the store to find out. My M's keeps a form at the checkout if you don't have a coupon and all you have to do is ask. The clerk said that they don't OFFER it, but to ask for it. You have to sign your name and zip code. Probably to keep you from going in dozens of time to use it! I am really hoping that they will use that to determine a need to advertise further out.
She also told me the the fliers usually come out every other week but that sometimes that may change too. I figure with the Easter weekend coming up, they were trying to have some good sales going for the holiday weekend and changed up the sale dates.
I asked to sign the form Saturday when I'd made my selection and then found out the coupon wasn't good-- our ad came on Saturday but the coupon didn't start until Sunday-- and the girl said, "Um, we really don't like to do that anymore. I mean, we have the form and we can, but we don't like to...." Oooooo...kay-- I couldn't make any sense of that. Maybe they only do it for short people(I'm 5'11")...or blondes...or people wearing purple pants??
Every time I go to Michaels I have to ask if there is a coupon in effect because I don't get their flier here. They will give me the 40% off if I sign a sheet saying I didn't get one and giving them my postal code..
Around here (CT) you can use either a Joann's or AC Moore coupon at Michaels. That holds true for the others too - Joann's at AC Moore, etc. Our Sunday paper had the 40% off coupon for Michaels & Joann's and 50% for AC Moore.

I think they discriminate against those of us who do not live within a few miles of the store. I have to drive over an hour to get anywhere. I want coupons to buy a Cuttlebug!!!
