Default how do I repair and "unstuck" ink pad?

I took my "dew drops" to Sunday School to ink over some cuttlebug embossed card fronts.

(The children loved it buy the way.)

Anyway, a few heavy handed children pressed hard as they dragged the ink pad across the paper and the foam pad just rolled off the plastic base.

The ink pad is still juicy. How can I restick the pad to the base?

i've tried and failed to repair a few of my colorbox cats eyes - same thing - kids in my mom & me class were a little TOO enthusiastic! LOL!

since the pads are "wet" with ink, no adhesive seems to work.

Talking

This has happened to a couple of my cats eyes inkpads and I have used some Pritt-gel (strong) glue. I squeezed it on to the base and then placed the actual inkpad ontop and gently pushed it in place. None of them have come off again. I use this gel glue for attaching any heavier metal embellisments to my cards etc and they are on forever.

Is there something that is available in the UK to do this job?

Rubber Cement. it is the same thing as the zip dry. the Crystal effects dries hard and it can affect the spongy pad.
