Default Blog Candy Etiquette

I'm not sure this goes here, or if I'm even doing it correctly. This is my first post to create a thread. Please steer me in the right direction if I'm astray. Here's my question: Is there some sort of etiquette to follow if you're a blog candy winner? Do you send a handmade thank you? Offer to pay shipping costs? Put a thank you on the blog? Send a gift back? I want to be ready if I win. Thanks in advance for any insights.

At the very least, I either PM or e-mail the person to thank them. I *usually* send a thank you card, just to let them know how much the candy was appreciated. Depending on the candy, I will try to use it (stamp, ribbon, bling) on the card.

I would personally send a thank you. If I was not up to making one, for health or other reasons, I would send a thank you via e-mail or the blog. Only because I know I would appreciate knowing if the person liked it or not. And what I would need to or want to change for the next give away, would come from their feedback.

I have a lot of giveaways on my blog and I am happy when someone emails me just to tell me it arrived. I would never expect them to pay the shipping. I did receive one handmade card and really appreciated it. And some people email me with pictures of what they made and I enjoy that as well.

I don't give away blog candy per se, but when I do send someone aomething I do not expect anything in return. An e-mial thank you is great. A hand-stamped card is outstanding! BUt i have absolutely no expectations becasue the whole point of the giveaway is to give something away, not to expect something in return.

And ITA with everyone who says you're too sweet for asking. Just enjoy the candy and maybe send a stamped card if you really liked it!

I personally would defenitely send a thank you card and put a message on my blog. It's such a nice thing when people want to give away some blogcandy for free so I think they deserve a big Thanks;o)

Don't worry about it. I don't think I'd send a thank you- only cause I spend more time reading about stamping than actually stamping. If I ever recieved blog candy, I would probably just send an email of thanks.
