Default Could someone translate this??

I was just checking the comments on my blog and this one came up and I have NO idea what it says!! It doesn't seem to be bad (ie: spam or just something bad - plus it says "complimenti" which I assume means compliment) but it was posted twice and each one is slightly different and I have NO clue what they're saying - can anyone help a gal out??

Here's what both of them said (I am assuming the first one was posted before the poster chaged their keyboard settings but I'm not sure about that):

Che bello, molto simpatico e allegro. Complimenti

and

Che bello, mi piace, molto simpatico. Complimenti!

At the very least I just want to know what they're saying in English - especially if they ARE nice!!

I went to www.freetranslation.com and it says that Che bello, mi piace, molto simpatico. Complimenti! is Italian and translates to: That attractive, it pleases me, it is very nice. Compliments! and

Che bello, molto simpatico e allegro. Complimenti translates to: That attractive, very nice and cheerful. Compliments

I think it's really neat to have comments in another language - especially such nice ones!

Oh thank you!! And thanks for that website too - I'm adding it to my faves so I can check myself from now on (I didn't even know there was such a site - shows how much I know )

And ya it IS really cool to get compliments in different languages - except not being able to read them helps little (that's changed as of now tho )

It does!

My espaol is muy rusty these days, but, there were enough similarities between it and Italian (latin base) for me to pick up what the gist of the comment was. I was pretty stoked!

How fun, Amy!

It's Italian. My three years of Italian in college have gotten really rusty, but the online translation is a bit off, but close. Bello is beautiful or pretty. Here's my version of the translation:

Che bello, molto simpatico e allegro. Complimenti

How beautiful, very nice and happy/cheerful. Compliments!

Che bello, mi piace, molto simpatico. Complimenti!

How beautiful, I like it, it is very nice. Compliments!

Regardless, you do good work!

I should add - my years of Italian finally had a use! Actually, I studied abroad too and it was useful there, but here in Texas, you don't run into many Eye-Talians (as a friend of mine says it, I know it's a hick pronunciation) that actually speak the language.

Thanks you guys!! I don't know a stitch of Italian (or any other language for that matter - I haven't taken French since elementary school sadly - I wish I had kept learning!) but it sure does sound nice eh??

I love ALL the nice comments I get and having some in different languages is WAY cool (when I finally know WHAT they're saying that is!!).

Oh, and did you also know that there's an Italy in Texas? It's pronounced IT-leey. With a twang on the end. lol

Yup. The Dairy Queen is nice there. We often stop there on the way to Austin!
