Question condolence cards for kids

As a Hospice volunteer, I have been invited to be involved in stamping condolence cards for children who have lost a parent grandparent or sibling. I have the Crayon Kids and the Toybox set. All the samples seem to have a celebrate or happy theme. Any ideas on images and color schemes? Any help would be appreciated. If I don't have the set, my upline may be willing to lend it to me. Thanks in advance.

Default condolence cards for kids

I had a great time stamping with other Hospice volunteers. Of course I was partial to my materials LOL! They were amazed at the sympathy quotes stamp set. They copied all of them to use in hand written notes.
The amazing thing to me is that the coordinator said any image is OK. The smiling crayon kids are OK because kids need to know that smiling is OK when they still miss the loved one.
Just for suggestions: Loads of Love was great with the hearts. Toy box and crayon kids worked out great. I also stamped the envelopes so the mail looked special for the kids.

How about using the Animal Valentines (retired) set? The alligator has outstretched arms like he is wanting a hug and the dog and porcupine in that set are holding hearts. You could say something about the loved one will always be with you in your heart. I hope that helps. What a wonderful project to be involved in.
