computer ?
Ok, this isn't totally a stamping question, but....
we want to bundle our computer, cable, and dish, which means I'll be getting a new e-mail address. I'm not happy about it, but I understand it will save us money. BUT my BIG question is how do I retrieve e-m from my old address?? I have lots (and I really do mean lots) of e-m that I want to save or haven't gotten to yet. Is there a way to access it? We have an external hard drive on the computer, but I've never used it to access anything. |
Not sure how to help, but that's one of the reason's that I use gmail or yahoo mail. That and when my computer crashes I don't lose all my e-mails.

we will need more info to be able to help you. how to you access your email?
do you check your email online with your provider? or do you download it to your computer through outlook or similiar program? |
You will probably need to renew access to your existing email at least until you retrieve your emails. Then, as other posters have suggested, you should open a (what I refer to as a) global email such as yahoo, gmail, ymail, etc. These you will always have as long as you keep them active. They are not tied to a specific provider. I've had my email address for ... nearly 15 years now. I remember once upon a time receiving a message from a brand new company offering free email. YahooooOOOooooo :D
